I am trying to install a Genius device with the rt18139.c source code =
(using the how to of the site: www.scyld.com/expert/modules.html) =20
When I execute the command gcc -DMODULE -D_KERNEL_ -O6 -c rt18139.c, I =
get the message "modversions.h not found". =20
The instructions say to delete '-DMODVERSIONS' from the command used to =
compile the driver module. =20
But I am not using DMODVERSIONS of the compile command. Please, help me. =
What is wrong? =20
I am using Debian with 2.2.17 kernel. =20

And I also tried to install by the floppy disk, that come with the =
device, but it is not working, either. The command ./trans don't =
generate the rt18139.o, that expected to do =20
 =20
Hope you can help,

'Tks a lot
