sorry.... its not IRQ 1
its IRQ 11

Anyway, i have been told that the machine used W 98 as OS for a while =
and the Card seemed to be working.
I tryed the SiS900 driver included in the distribution, but it doesnt =
recognize the card.

I am going to try to move the Cards inside the board, and try to compile =
and install the new versions of the drivers.

Thanks

IRQ 1 is definitely not available on any IBM compatible system. It =
holds the keyboard controller and I think this is on an old ISA bus =
which aren't able to share IRQ's, this might also explain the empty MAC =
addy.

  Kind regards,

    Hi all

I am using Linux Suse 6.4
I tryed to find some information about this on the SuSE site, but =
they dont seem to have this problem

I installed the distribution, and in the detection phase, the =
onboard Network Card is detected an
a Realtek RTL8139 Fast Ethernet Driver is choosen.
But when I see the details , i find:

    eth0 SiS900 Realtek RTL 8139 Fast Ethernet found at 0xde00 IRQ 1, =
00:00:00:00:00:00

then i configure its IP and the rest of the information, but i cant =
get it to ping other machines.

    Is this Hardware address right?=20
Is this a IRC problem or something?
I tryed the Sis900 and the DAvicom drivers, but the card isnt =
detected (the CDROM included with the borad mentions 3 drivers... =
Davicom, Realtek and Sis 900)

What should i do? any ideas?

    Thanks

Don't have any idea what can be the problem, can someone help?
