Hey there,

I've got a 10/100Mbps Switching HUB, not to be mistaken for a switch =
which is a totally different device. There used to be a pure 10 HUB. =
Ofcourse I have several Rtl8139 100Mbps cards.

I've changed the HUB and forced some speeds, but this caused troubles so =
I put it back in autonegotiation which now set the card to 100baseTx. At =
10Mbps I got ftp speeds of 930kBps (kiloBYTE!) now at 100Mbps I only get =
1,3MB (megaBYTE) which seems pretty low to me... I expected around 2.5MB =
to 4MB, any ideas what may cause this and whether this is normal or not? =
There is no heavy load on the HUB at all....

Kind regards,

Ferry van Steen
