memory whit RTL8139

I have a little problem with a RTL8139A.
My computer is a P90 with 8 Mb RAM, kernel 2.2.5 and must work only as
file server (Samba).
Initializing eth0 it show the error message:

eth0: Couldn't allocate a 65536 byte receive ring
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Canoot allocate memory

Can I to reserve 64Kb for eth0 ?
