problem of rtl8139

[SHIH LIN]

Dear rtl8139 device driver programmers:

  Under Linux kernel 2.0.34.  I get the error message at boot time

INIT: Entering runlevel 3
Going multiuser .........

then I tried   ifconfig eth0

            UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

            Interrupt:9 Base address:0xd000

What may cause wrong? Is that possible I enter wrong parameters or device
driver have problem?
