Hi Michael,

thank you for the hint with allmulti option. It worked, but then we 
noticed the D-Link resets every minute. We switched back to the kernel 
(2.4.26) driver so this issue remains unsolved. Sometimes the kernel 
driver goes nuts resetting the card very often and we must reboot the 
machine :-(
