Hi Peter,

Interestingly I have just noticed that if you go to Dlink UK
http://www.dlink.co.uk and then go to support, then drivers for the
DFE-580TX, there is actually a separate Linux driver for download that looks
like an earlier version of the sundance driver.

If you could compile this under a 2.4 kernel (Fedora Core 1) and see if this
module works, then that would be great. If it does work, I can probably do a
code comparison and try and figure out why the current module is broken. The
other thing to do would be to bring this up on the linux-kernel mailing
list, as I imagine somewhere there would be able to help.

I've also submitted a technical support request on the Dlink website
(http://support.dlink.com) explaining that the current kernel drivers are
broken.
