SMC 9432TX EtherPower II

I am using this board in one machine and since upgrading to the 2.2.X
versions of the kernel I am now seeing many errors. I am running
a redhat 6.0 system with the driver compiled into the kernel.

eth0: SMC EPIC/100 at 0x9100, IRQ 11, 00:e0:29:08:5c:1d.
eth0: MII transceiver #3 control 3000 status 7809.
eth0:  Autonegotiation advertising 01e1 link partner 0001.

The output of ifconfig:

I know these errors are really not a problem however I used to get
none with the driver in the 2.0.36 kernel.
