Just a little bit of information. I have a game
server that runs Half Life counter strike. I get this error when the game
server gets maxed out. None of the processes kill out. Just all network
connectivity stops Literally. But I can go down to the machine and log in
and all the processes are still running.

Maybe I need to replace the Nic. I updated the
kernel to 2.4.4 because I thought maybe there was a problem with 2.4.3 that
I was using. one thing is for sure as long as the game server process
doesn't get maxed out it is fine. Also when the game server does get maxed
out then it stays up for a couple hours and then kills. Any help would be
appreciated even if you just point somewhere to look. Also if someone could
tell me where I need to look to get any responses to this question. Please
email at lloyd.bond@integratelecom.com.
