[eepro100] how to get a stable version of eepro100 for 2.2.16?

Hello,
   I have tested performance of eepro100 and e100-1.5.5a for linux 2.2.16
kernel,and I find eepro100 work faster than e100.But obviously,e100 is more
stable than eepro100.when traffic is too large,eepro100 often displays 'card
reports no resource',even is down.e100 works stably but slowly.
   Now I want to get a stable and fast version of eepro100 for 2.2.16.Please
help me.
