I think I've had this problem before--the card wasn't seated properly. If
it's not an on-board chipset, try re-seating the card and cleaning the
gold edges with some isopropyl alcohol or contact cleaner and a toothbrush
or lint-free cloth to clean any dirt/fingerprints off.
