Hi
We have a SuperMicro PIIIDM6 motherboard which has an
Intel EtherExpress Pro100 onboard. We have an intermittent
problem which will either lock the machine up, or the following
error messages are reported from eepro100.c.
eth0: card reports no resources
eth0: card reports no RX buffers
The lock up and the errors have occured during light and heavy
network traffic. Has anyone had any experience with this
motherboard and/or had similar problems ?
The eepro100 driver is that which is shipped with RedHat 6.2
kernel version 2.2.14-5.0.
What maybe a related problem is the checksum errors reported
when the module is loaded. The following is what it reports in
the syslog.

Apr 27 16:33:24 prospero kernel: ROM checksum self-test: passed (0x04f4518b).
Apr 27 16:33:24 prospero kernel: Receiver lock-up workaround activated.
Any help would be gratefully received. Otherwise we'll probably
just disable the onboard network card and install another.
thanks
James
