It's quite old version of the driver and it has some known bugs.
You may get the updated driver from the last 2.2.15 prepatch
or from ftp://ftp.sw.com.sg/pub/Linux/people/saw/kernel/

The driver has a version stamp $Revision: 1.18 $ which refers to my CVS
repository.  eepro100.c:v1.09j-t means that the driver is based on Donald's
driver v1.09j with some improvements taken from versions up to v1.09t.
