EEPRO100 and Cable Modem

Hi,
    it is probably the wron list, but ....

    Anybody out there using EtherExpress PRO/100WfM ( built in to Intel DK440LX
motherboard) with a cable modem?

I tried to follow all the instructions from Cable-Modem mini howto, but I do not get
any IP address.

My ISP provider is ResNet (a clone of InterMedia @Home) and (you figured it out)
they are not very helpful : What version of Windoze are you running?
