I wouldn't dispute that you have an appropriately personal stake in the
quality of the code, and that this is a powerful motivator.

On the frequent occasions that I have loaded various distributions, I
have always appreciated the fact that eepro driver was available.  For
that, however, I have silently thanked Donald Becker, not you.


You started something wonderful; it would be a shame if you were harder
than you needed to be on someone doing the same.
