There's a great deal more to it than that, not the least of which are 
BIOS/system firmware level changes needed, as well as OS support.  But 
lots of folks are bought into the notion of "drop it in and it just gets 
faster."

As Ellis said, click your heels three times and repeat "there is no such 
thing as a silver bullet..."
