They aren't competing. RH bases his virtualization & cloud products on
GFS (previously from Systina) and GlusterFS. Although GlusterFS, with
its plugin architecture, could also work in a massive parallel way,
it's at least not marketed by RH for this purpose. Ceph seems to be
the a good way to fill in this void in RH's portfolio.
