Here's my 2p worth (3.5c AU).
Whilst US fair use laws permit some copying of text for
review/critique/parody/etc I'm pretty sure they don't permit the
wholesale copying of text. As an Australian I get far less leeway.
As someone who strongly believes in Free and Open Source software the
respect of copyright is important to me personally as the enabler of
FLOSS through copyright licenses and thus of the whole Beowulf concept.

Penguin Computing are kind to us through hosting the list and with
bringing up a new VM that will be the new location (as soon as I can
get some free time once I'm back in Australia after SC13) and I don't
want to get them into trouble for hosting text of full articles via
the list archives.
