We have 4 systems with 1TB of RAM, all Intel Westmere-EX systems, 1
SGI UV10 with 4 sockets (32 cores) and 3 IBM x3690's (dual socket 16
cores) with Maxx5 QPI expansion units. So that's easily doable.
What is the code you are running?
cheers,
Chris
