What's this for stupid bunch of postings you've been doing - nearby  
idiot level.

A supercomputer running classified codes in a bunker, knowing that  
most public supercomputers already have an economic lifespan of at  
most 5-6 years,
which it has reached - and they have something way faster now.

What was it 150 gflop double precision a node if i remember well,  
something like that? eating a watt or  220-250?
So that nearby 0.5 gflop a watt figure makes sense that i saw quoted.

Time to shredder it to pieces and say goodbye to the CELL processor  
computation.

You mean the K20X cpu that's in everyones computer?

Oh comeon, that's a real manycore chip of nearby $4k from nvidia  
which is really fast - yet not exactly *commodity*.

Do your homework better.

It doesn't matter whether you code for blue gene, cuda or phi - from  
a software viewpoint it's all vector type coding you've got to do.  
the price of 1 coder is total peanuts compared to
the price of those supercomputers. So specialistic written software  
is what you need anyway.

Of course IBM will show up with new cpu's for HPC that will do well.

 From the way you posted seems you do not know the difference between  
blue gene versus the CELL processor anyway.
