[Beowulf] Status of beowulf.org?

Hi all:

Before we get too deep in this discussion regarding moderation, I'd
like to ask two questions:

1) Is this list moderated?  And if so, for what specifically?
2) Is it still necessary to moderate the list, moving forward?
