[Beowulf] bizarre scaling behavior on a Nehalem

Is there a way to check if I have this bug?

ls /sys/devices/system/node/
node0  node1

Don't know what exactly is "bad content" in here. I'll see if I can
find a bug report online.

Any way to test? Are there any NUMA support tests or benchmarks?
