I just did a quote for 10TB storage.
3Ware Escalade 9650SE + battery backup (16 port)
12 x Hitachi 1TB Enterprise SATAII in raid 6
2 x Intel Xeon Woodcrest 5160 - 3GHz
8 x 2048MB DDRII-667
All for £6,886.00
Which I realise would buy a small house in the USA at the moment :)
