[Beowulf] Scyld Beowulf support for SGE

Out of the box, SGE does not run on Beowulf clusters. A fix was
floating around the dev list but it was not in the offical tree.

I decided to get it fixed and I just checked in a fix for SGE
6.0u8 and maintrunk.
