The most common problems I've seen are the ownership and permission of the
.ssh directory and the files within. In particular make sure to turn off
read/write permissions for group and other users.

Subject: [Beowulf] ssh without password for non root user in
RedHatEnterprise Linux 3
Hi,
I followed all the instructions for ssh without password but could not
succeed for non root user accounts in RHEL3. Following the same steps I
could do for root.
Any help greatly appreciated,
hima.
