You might want to speak to Debian - there appear to be 2005 versions
in Debian unstable.  Another instance of why I use Debian - almost
anything you could wish for is in there. Camm Maguire (I think) does
optimised ATLAS stuff, for example. If Debian can do it, then I suspect
the problem _might_ be rpm "stuff"
