INTEL XEON vs AMD ATHLON

My friend works for AMD. He told me that a few months
ago, I'll have to ask him again about this topic it
might come out sooner/later.
  He is receiving a Quad AMD Sledgehammer 2.5GHz for
testing (when they get closer to releasing them).
