Linux on Xeon

Hi Hans,
You can find comparison from.... me.
We run VASP (DFT code) and some RG-molecular dynamic.
What are you interested ?? memory ? floating point ?? integerd ??
Anyway, we are leaving intel based system for athlon. The Athlon 1.2GHz is
outstanding for heavy floating-point. An Athlon 1.2GHz (Asus-via) is 3
times faster than a P3 850MHz (supermicro-serverworks) doing 
memory-floating intensive stuff.
