[3c509] [Solved:] Problems with 3Com 515

Hello to all,

On 00/09/16@11:26 Donald Becker told me in 34lines (1,0K):

This was the core tip.

I just had a look on the modules.conf again and the last line was:

options 3c515 options=0

I suppose that yast (the config tool of SuSE added this line). Since
I made my changes in the fist lines of modules.conf I did not
recognised it earlier. Anyhow, I commented all options lines and
ping works.

The README file said "Requires Windows 95, NT 4.0, or
better." So... I installed it on Linux!
