Penguin Computing hosted a party celebrating the ten-year anniversary of Beowulf. Thomas Sterling and Donald Becker, John "Mad Dog" Hall, and user group president, Mike Fitzmaurice joined developers and technologists at the Thirsty Bear on August 4, 2004 while in San Francisco for the Linux World conference.
