You're making a confusion here. 905C is Tornado and it's the latest 
generation supported by the 3c59x driver. Boomerang is the original 905 
(no letter) card, probably others, look at their definitions at the 
beginning of the driver code.

Yes, it does, but not as "max. MTU". The card deals only with packets, 
whatever their significance is for the upper networking layers is not 
known at this level. The maximum packet size supported by most (if not 
all) cards driven by the 3c59x driver is 4500 bytes (FDDI size).
