What is the driver detection message?

This usually indicates a transceiver selection problem, perhaps forcing
the transceiver selection to a non-existing type which results in a
non-autonegotiated 10Mbps connection.

The driver and 3c575 card should work at full line rate.  If it doesn't,
there is a probelm somewhere.
