Hi

I have a problem when I'm trying to install Debian 2.1 in my computer. I
have a 3Com EtherLink XL PCI (3C900 10 Mb Combo) network card.

I'll try to install 3c59x module in (debian setup) and I give in command
line like this

3c59x options=0 irq=9 io=0x1000

but then debian setup program says
"If the device isn't there, or isn't configured correctly, this could cause
your system up to a minute" and then
it stucks there.

When I'm looking cat /proc/pci it says

	Bus 0, device 14, function 0
	3Com 3C900 10b Combo (rev )
	IRQ 9. Latency=64
	Min Gnt=3. Max Lat=8
	I/O at 0x1000

and there isn't any conflicts with the irq and io

cat /proc/ioports
...
00f0-00ff : npu
0170-0177 : ide1
...

cat /proc/interrupts
...
8: 0 + rtc
13: 1 math error
...

The card works just fine in other operating system.
