Hi,

I'm sorry if I'm asking something which is written somewhere, but right now
I haven't succeeded in finding a solution to my problem anywhere.

I have

<6>3c59x.c:v0.99L 5/28/99 Donald Becker http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/driver
<6>eth0: 3Com 3c900 Boomerang 10Mbps Combo at 0xc400, 00:60:97:3a:93:d2, IRQ 10
<6> 8K word-wide RAM 3:5 Rx:Tx split, 10base2 interface.
<6> Enabling bus-master transmits and whole-frame receives.
<6>eth1: 3Com 3c900 Boomerang 10Mbps Combo at 0xc000, 00:60:97:33:af:e2, IRQ 11
<6> 8K word-wide RAM 3:5 Rx:Tx split, 10base2 interface.
<6> Enabling bus-master transmits and whole-frame receives.

which looks pretty good. But the problem is: I can't tell the second adapter
to use the 10baseT interface. Either I'm too stupid to do so or I haven't
found the way to do it. I tried with vortex-diag and the options I can use
there, but it doesn't change a single thing. I thought normally the adapter
should use the correct interface by itself, in this case 10baseT as it is
simply the cable which is plugged into it. The other is connected with 10b2
and is working ok, but the second doesn't want to use the 10bT port which
connects it to my cisco.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated,

thanks.
