Hello,

i´m using SuSE Linux 6.2 with 2.2.10 kernel and V099.L of the vortex
drivers. My system has two networks cards, i 3c905c and a 3c900b.

When booting the system, i got an "invalid checksum" message from the
driver.

Should i care about the message? Everything seems to workf fine. I tried
to compile the newest version 0.99N of the drivers (downloaded from the
Web). But this version doesn´t seem to be made for kernel 2.2 (it tries
to include k_compat.h and pci-netif.h from the drivers/net directory
which doesn´t exist).

Anything got a working system with the 3c90x drivers from 3Com? I
downloaded the sources, patches it against Kernel 2.2.10 and compiled it
as module with no problems. After setting a new alias for eth0, the
module recognized both cards but with no working connections over both
cards.
