On 3Com Boomerang

Both card are connected to 3Com 3C16980 switch (100/10)
The question is :
------------------
1) Transceiver/media interfaces available: MII.
and
Transceiver/media interfaces available: 100baseTx 10baseT.
whats the difference ?
2) I'm using these cards on my beowulf clusters. What the difference
(speed) if i set it to half-duplex instead of full-duplex ?

thanks
