[vortex-bug] transfer errors with 3C905C-TX-M

I've had one 3c575_cb bug report that was eventually traced to some
sort of data corruption on the PCI bus; it matched the reported
symptoms here exactly (fairly infrequent data corruption of large
files sent over the network).  The problem disappeared when I turned
off hardware checksum calculation.  I was not able to determine where
the problem cropped up along the path between the card and system
memory.  It was definitely not a memory corruption issue; it was
specific to network traffic.

Hardware checksums can be turned on/off with a module option in the
current 3c575_cb driver.
