The the "real" 3c59x.c v0.99H does not support the 3c905C.
Only the updated versions added Tornado support.

The "v0.99H" in the kernel has been hacked up in various way, including
adding a 3c905C entry to the recognition problem.

So any any v0.99H + 3c905C bugs should really be referred to Jeff Garzik.
