3c905b hanging

I've got a 3c905b (3c59x driver) in my mail server, and it's been
'hanging' at peak times (and 4am yesterday morning, which shouldn't be
peak, but perhaps an "unexpected event" happened. :)). When this
occurs, it ignores all network requests, from both the inside and
out. Doing an "ifdown eth0 && ifup eth0" has worked to bring the
interface back up each time. ifconfig shows a high number of overruns
after this happens.

Looking over the vortex-bug archives, I've seen someone with a
situation that seemed similar, who said he fixed it by cranking
max_interrupt_work up to 200. I've done this (as an insmod option),
and the problem hasn't recurred yet, but only a day has passed. Is
this the correct solution for my problem, or do you think it might be
something else entirely? :)
