3c59x: recurring transmit errors

Folks, this discussion of NFS performance is really quite fascinating,
but none of it has anything to do with the 3c59x transmit errors I am
seeing.  I am not experiencing NFS slowdown; I am experiencing complete
failure of all networking through the card.

I hate to be a topic Nazi, but this problem is rendering my Linux box
unusable.  Does *anyone* have any additional suggestions?
