Are you getting any errors?

Read the dmfe.c code.  Pay particular attention to the packet CRC
calculation.
You'll see why I won't put that work-around into the regular Tulip driver.

The v0.92 Tulip driver will work, just not very well.  I recommend using
the dmfe.c driver -- preferably a recent one.
