Hi,
I'm a newbie to Linux so I'm sorry if this sounds too easy.I recently =
installed Red Hat 7.1 on a Compaq Presario 1700 and I have some problems =
with the ethernet card.

I read the posts and downloaded the drivers from tulip website but i'm =
unsure of the proper procedure to install the driver. if I just install =
usiing rpm, will it corrupt the system?

Any help is greatly appreciated.=20
