Linksys support in 2.3.[34]x kernels

Folks,

I have a Linksys LNE100TX Version 2.0 PCI card, and I have found that
the tulip driver in the later 2.3 kernels doesn't work with it. It
is correctly detected, but gives a "resource busy" error message during
boot. Linksys supplied a modified version of the tulip driver with
the card, however that only compiled under the 2.2.x kernels. I have
folded the changes from that driver into the 2.3.43 driver, and it
seems to work fine for me.

If anyone would like to test these changes or comment on them, the
patch can be obtained at

ftp://www.fagnits.com/ftp/linux/tulip.patch

It is 2284 bytes long.

I'd also be interested in getting the changes incorporated into the
2.3.x kernel (assuming no-one spots any fatal flaw in them). I'd be
interested to know how that could be achieved - MAINTAINERS didn't
list a maintainer for tulip.c last time I looked.

Thanks in advance.
