[tulip] Transmit lockup on file transfers

The previous message I sent should have said the receiving machine was
locking up. You can see from the error messages that it tries to restart
itself. Unfortunately the NIC never responds. The half duplex is on my other
NIC (eth0) and is not intentional, it just autoselects this and I don't know
why. Something is wrong here too. I don't know what brand this card is
because @Home installed it when I wasn't there. It should be doing full
duplex in my opinion. Anyway it is working ok at half duplex for now. I
tried going back to driver V.92I, but that did not make any difference
either. I have a K6-2/500 processor BTW.

I have similar problem, card just stops tx-ing, but I don't get the
same error message, ifconfig reports lots of carrier errors (and
collisions). I think I have the same chip, but can't verify at the
moment.

is the half-duplex intentional? my card also says half duplex but the
other end (intel pro/100 via crossover cable) thinks it's full duplex...

  I'm using the same driver...
