I have a smp system with two linksys NICs. Both cards are identified by the
driver

tulip.c:v0.91g 7/16/99 becker@cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov
eth0: Lite-On PNIC-II rev 37 at 0xa400, 00:A0:CC:35:D9:20, IRQ 19.
eth1: Lite-On 82c168 PNIC rev 32 at 0xa800, 00:A0:CC:28:B0:B9, IRQ 19.
eth1: MII transceiver #1 config 3100 status 7809 advertising 01e1.

but, the second card receiver and transmitter is stopped.
Can anyone suggest what might be the problem?
