Kingston KNE100TX and the tulip driver

The problem is you more the likely have the new KNE100TX cards with the
intel tulip 21143-PD chip on the card.  This is not bad other then the
current drivers being shipped on most linux distributions as well as the
one you will find in 2.2.6 or older is not new enough.  Get the .90q
driver unless there is a newer one and then get that one.  Rebuild your
kernel with this newer tuplip driver and life will be happy once again.

The older driver see's and thinks it configures the card ok, but if you
look at the back on of the 4 leds will be flashing non stop.  So update
and rebuild kernel...
