Ok... I've made some additional progress with the docking station... I can now initialize the driver, and select a seemingly valid
tranceiver.  However, each attempted tranceiver choice generates some sort of error.  I've attached tulip-diag output (while tulip was
running with options=12 and options=0).

I've also attached snippets of syslog output from a variety of attempts to utilized the network with different options.

I'd appreciate any further insight anyone might have.
