I'm guessing that the newer cards do not have MII transceivers, but instead
use SYM (SYMbol mode) transceivers.

What is your link partner?  Is it doing full duplex?  That would account for
the slow speed and high collision rate.

The v92 driver should work fine with 2.2.15.

This report is normal if a SYM transceiver is connected.
