This unfortunately doesn't appear to have any effect here.  I've verified
that cardmgr is inserting with the correct module params (at least, it logs
that it does...from 'message':

) debug=2 yields some extra messages.  I still don't get any packets out:

It's on a 10BaseT half duplex network but just for kicks I tried both MII
and non-MII half and full duplex modes, with little effect.  Here's the
output now with options=12 debug=2 with 2.2.1, the February 2 pcmcia stuff
and .90k.
