Linksys EtherFast 10/100 Cardbus PC Card

Hi:

I read the archive of the linux-tulip-bug list and found the one-line
change for the 89K driver that turned off the low-power mode and now the
card doesn't lock up.  However, the performance is half great and half
rotten.  I'm getting 85 Mb/sec sending, but 3.6 Mb/sec receiving.

When the card is inserted, syslog gets this:

eth0: MII transceiver found at MDIO address 0, config 1000 status 7809
eth0: Advertising 01e1 on PHY 0, previously advertising 01e1
